After graduating with my Associate Degree in Nursing at Salish Kootenai College and upon passing the NCLEX, I immediately started working at St. Luke’s Community Clinic in Ronan, Montana!

 

There I learned how to apply my knowledge and skills as an RN by providing patients with empathetic and competent care based on each individuals needs, while working closely with doctors,  MAs, other nurses, and the rest of the clinic staff. After moving from Ronan to Kalispell Montana, I quickly started looking for jobs related to dermatology and skin care, as that is what I am passionate about.

 

Shortly after moving, I started working for Dermatology Associates. While there, I got a ton of knowledge and experience, while also broadening my understanding of dermatology related diseases and skin conditions. In 2022, while working at Dermatology Associates, I took it upon myself to travel to Scottsdale Arizona to take a highly rated course for aesthetic injectables!

 

I chose to take this course because I knew early on in nursing school that I ultimately wanted to end up working as an Aesthetic nurse injector and I knew I wanted only the best training! After taking some time off from work due to pregnancy, and to raise my youngest (and last) child from home, I am now fully ready to pursue my dreams of becoming an aesthetic nurse and working in a medical spa.

 

I am extremely excited and eager to start working again and very hopeful for a successful and fulfilling future in this side of nursing!
